State of the note
As of Thursday Jun 5 2025, This is very much a stub that I expect to significantly expand over time. I don’t know that there will ever be much content here, but it should be a good “hub” page.

Naming is a ubiquitous technique in computer systems, it comes up over, and over, and over again. This is a quick list that I can use to refer to, partially inspired by the systems we teach in 6.180 (6.033).
